Hey everyone. I got a new leather jacket recently and wanted to paint some punk or anti-fascist symbols on it. I can’t think of many besides the arrows, flags, and fist. I don’t wanna have a swastika with a line through it or something of that nature.

Jan 16, 2021 · Most punk symbols are pretty well known, (Anarchy symbol). If you want more stealth stuff then you'll have to look into leftist symbols in general. Plus punk generally adopts symbols that are used in other movements

Dec 6, 2022 · Recently learned of the chaosphere symbol and that it has a meaning within punk groups. Before I decide to use it though, I want to know if it is a good symbol or a bad symbol. I don’t want to use something because it looks cool or symbolizes something cool in theory, and then find out I have been spreading a terrible symbol around.

I was really deeply thinking about this and I’m wondering why exactly they choose this as a universal punk symbol.There are a lot more interesting symbols of punk like liberty spikes or art with [insert political figure here ] with Xs in the eyes. I don’t mean to sound like an idiot, I’m just curious.

Edit: Fucking hell I just reread the full title. As its clear below but I want to state at the top that this reclaiming does not include distinctly nazi created imagery, only the images and symbols which nazis appropriated (I personally include the swastika for non-usable symbols even though its appropriated too) and have become known as taboo symbols.

I thought up a whole new punk symbol. Thoughts? I used a bycicle as a base, then made the wheels the peace sign and the anarchy symbol since the A lines up with the chainstays, and the peace symbol lines up with the bike fork,

Mar 15, 2023 · In the UK at least, leopardskin print was always seen as a bit 'tarty/trashy' on women, and was often seen as being a bit vulgar, even before punk, but was fairly common for working class women. Younger guys, on the other hand, would be more likely to use it as seat covers for their ageing Ford Capri. Basically, a bit chavvy in more modern terms.
