Guests visiting the popular Innoventions attraction at the park can now see ASIMO (Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility) in an all-new live science show, Say ‘Hello’ to Honda’s ASIMO, opening June 2 as part of the theme park’s 50th Anniversary celebration.
Honda demonstrates ASIMO six times a day at Disneyland’s Innoventions attraction. The “Say Hello to Honda’s Asimo” show highlights ASIMO’s unique capabilities including walking forward and backward, running nearly four mph, climbing stairs, and more.

The all-new ASIMO is lighter, faster, smarter and more dexterous, allowing it to perform complicated tasks such as opening a sealed bottle and pouring a drink into a paper cup.
The new version of ASIMO is 4’3’’ tall (130 cm), weighs 110 lbs (50 kg), and is made of magnesium alloy, plastic resin and other materials. ASIMO runs on a rechargeable lithium ion battery, with an approximate operating time of 40 minutes before recharging.
ASIMO (Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility) is the world’s most advanced humanoid robot, with the ability to climb stairs, walk forward and backward, turn smoothly without pausing, and maintain balance, even while walking on uneven slopes and surfaces.

ASIMO is the world's only bi-pedal humanoid robot capable of walking forward and backward, turning while walking, and ascending and descending stairs and is the result of more than 18 years of research by Honda Motor Co., Ltd.
The nine-day family event, the first of its kind in the UAE, is aimed at inspiring the Emirate’s youth about science. The festival takes place over 9,000 square meters and is filled with over 150 workshops, interactive exhibits and fun science-themed experiences, including ASIMO.
