Dec 3, 2019 · Immunotherapy can be taxing on the liver too, which is why you probably have regular blood draws prior to your Keytruda infusion. There are prescription pain cremes that you can rub on joints that may give you some relief. These would be less taxing on your liver. My mom was on Keytruda for about 1 year, she also has Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Later I experienced some profound itching in my shins and behind my knee, and a few times some fatique, and heavy night sweats.

Dec 30, 2019 · I'm on Keytruda and Alimta and have been having treatments every 3 weeks for almost a year. Since you are only on the Keytruda, the frequency could be different. My first treatment was through my arm and it was very uncomfortable for me. I have small veins so I opted for the port. Everyone is different. You should do what makes you comfortable.

As Johnny said, talk to your docs first, but my mom's doc suggested Benedryl at night to help with the itch and to sleep. My mom switched from a loofah to a sponge and only used Aveeno body wash.

Aug 14, 2018 · After stopping Keytruda due to severe side effects in October 2018, my mom's most recent CT scan continues to show NED. Throughout her treatment, she has been having CT's every 3 months as recommended. Since all have been stable for awhile now (prior to stopping Keytruda), her doc has recommended CT's every 4 months instead of 3 months.

Aug 30, 2020 · I've gotten used to it. it's annoying, but I don't have pain like you are experiencing. I'm glad you've found something that works. I am right with you on the constipation, but I think you will find that after the second treatment of Keytruda alone - meaning after about six weeks, it might go away. That has been my experience.
