Buzz Lightyear Planet Rescue Tomorrowland attraction at Shanghai Disneyland; opened June 16, 2016. Using pulse blasters to fire at Power Source Z’s, guests join Buzz Lightyear on an interactive adventure to infiltrate Emperor Zurg’s secret lair and eliminate a dangerous crystal-powered Superblaster.

Visitors are asked to help Buzz Lightyear in defeating Zurg, his major enemy. To do so, they shoot interactive screens throughout the ride. With the help of a joystick, guests can turn the Omnimovers in the desired direction.

Buzz Lightyear Planet Rescue is an amusement ride at the Shanghai Disney Resort. Located in the park’s Tomorrowland themed zone, Buzz Lightyear Planet Rescue is based on the story from Disney’s famous Toy Story franchise.
