The Lebanon Police Department has been protecting the community for over two hundred years and was founded on May 2, 1819. Chief Mike Justice has been serving the City of Lebanon since 1991, dedicating over three decades to law enforcement and public safety. He began his career on patrol and progressed through the ranks, serving as Corporal and Sergeant before being promoted to Public Safety Coordinator in 2002.

The Lebanon Division of Police is a full service, internationally accredited, law enforcement agency that includes a communications center and temporary holding facility. The Division of Police includes 31 sworn officers and 11 civilian personnel, serving a city of 21,000 citizens and patrolling 12.9 square miles.

The Records Office of the Lebanon Police Department serves as the department’s central records component. Records Staff are primarily responsible for storage, maintenance, security and retrieval of incident, accident, and arrest reports. They also maintain the City of Lebanon Municipal Citations.

The Lebanon City Police Department is a full service department providing 24 hour police services to the many citizens and visitors of the City of Lebanon. The department has 41 sworn police officers, four administrative civilian employees and manages fifteen civilian crossing guards.
