Nov 22, 2022 · I have been having the same issues for a few months now. Xfinity did a 2 hour update remotely with my cable box and it did not fix it. We had the cable box switched out at the Xfinity store and they provided all new coax, hdmi and switch and still not fixed. We restarted all of the machines and tv and still no fix.

Apr 4, 2023 · You are luckier than us. We have not had "On Demand for over a year. Today the cable channel I was watching went to a message from Xfinity to contact them. I ignored the message and unplugged the cable-box to do a reset. After reset the cable channel was back. I believe we are getting close to when they drop Legacy cable tv.

May 7, 2020 · After installing my new equipment on November 28, 2020, I was experiencing the same issue with my TV box not working and receiving RDK-03036 errors. I was told the TV box gets it's signal from the DVR box in order to work. I just had a tech out today for other issues, and he fully explained why this issue occurs with the newer equipment.
