I intentionally cut apart memory and other semiconductor chips to get past the fact that using old computers and silicon wafers as a medium for art, the shapes I can work with are pretty much circles, squares, and rectangles.

The simplest way to explain my art form is to say that they are pictures of computer chips. Sometimes they are images of the whole chip, sometimes just a part of it, and sometimes they may be of many chips on a circuit board or silicon wafer.
