An Illinois deputy was killed in a shooting while vacationing in Turks and Caicos with her family over the weekend, authorities say. Shamone Duncan, 50, was in Turks and Caicos with friends and family to celebrate her sister's birthday,

The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force said two people were shot and killed around 10 p.m. near a popular restaurant on Grace Bay Road.

Turks and Caicos has the nicest beaches in the Caribbean, but this year also already two killings, one where an American tourist celebrating her birthday in a popular restaurants was hit by a stray bullet.
