The first episode of WWE’s “Monday Night Raw” to stream live on Netflix pulled in 4.9 million views globally. That is according to Live+1 data provided by Netflix, with a view defined as total hours viewed for the program divided by its runtime.

The first episode of World Wrestling Entertainment's “Monday Night RAW” on Netflix averaged 4.9 million viewers globally and 2.6 million households in the U.S., according to VideoAmp. Monday's three-hour show from the Intuit Dome outside of Los Angeles kicked off WWE’s 10-year partnership with Netflix.

With the move of Monday Night Raw to Netflix, WWE executives believed it would be able to expand its viewership globally. One show in and the results indicate a big day for the show's debut on the streaming service.
