The Pennsylvania State Police and Bensalem police had surrounded a vehicle on Route 13 near Biddles Lane. Authorities said Friday night that a police standoff with “potentially armed” individuals in a vehicle in Bucks County was over and “there is no threat to the community.”

One person is dead and another is in custody after investigators say two armed men refused to exit their vehicle following a police chase Friday night in Bensalem.

The 30-year-old man was shot by SWAT officers after he pointed a gun at police following a car chase and two-hour standoff at Bristol Pike near Biddles Lane, according to authorities.
