Microsoft’s Windows 11 24H2 update is rolling out automatically to eligible PCs, promising improved performance and new features. Some bugs persist and ‘Pause’ option gives you the chance to delay.

Microsoft has just played its joker card twice in a week, forcing upgrades on millions of Windows PC owners. This will raise serious alarm bells for hundreds of million of users who may now need to upgrade their PCs with no alternative options.

Microsoft wants to force the update of older Windows 11 version to the 24H2 version, even though there are still many bugs with it.

If you’ve been trying to somehow avoid the Windows 11 2024 Update, those days are over. Microsoft is now saying that mandatory Windows 11 24H2 updates have begun and the installation is lengthier than prior updates,

Microsoft has fixed further problems with the 24H2 update for Windows 11. In addition, the automatic update has now been activated.

"Today, searching for files on your Copilot+ PC with improved Windows Search will only work for files saved locally in indexed locations on your PC, " Microsoft states. "You can go to Settings > Privacy & security > Searching Windows to adjust which locations are indexed on your PC or turn on “Enhanced” to index your entire PC."

Microsoft will end support for Microsoft 365 for Windows 10 this October, so you'll need to buy a new Windows 11 PC.

Ready or not, here I come Microsoft has begun distributing Windows 11 24H2 to user devices as the company enters the next stage of the operating system's rollout.… Enterprises need not worry at this stage – devices managed by IT departments won't be updated.
