As fires rage in California, Musk announced that SpaceX will supply free Starlink terminals to impacted areas in Los Angeles.

The SpaceX founder said on Wednesday night that the rocket company would provide the terminals to areas hit by the huge wildfires.

SpaceX has quickly become something of a taxi service for space travel, allowing private companies and governments alike to affordably send satellites into orbit for research and commercial purposes. The frequent launches have reportedly become something of a nightmare for those who live near the launch sites, however.

SpaceX sent up the second launch of the year from the Space Coast on Monday afternoon. A Falcon 9 carrying 24 of the company's Starlink internet satellites took off at 3:43 p.m. Eastern time from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station's Space Launch Complex 40.

The launch will take place at 10:27 a.m. at the  Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, where a Falcon 9 rocket will carry the satellites into space.
