In an exclusive interview with CNN Sport’s Barcelona teenager superstar Lamine Yamal says that he is going to sign a long-term deal with Barça and he’s looking forward to a stellar 2025.

Lamine Yamal has said Barcelona will "of course" win this season's Spanish title, adding that he expects to sign a long-term deal at the club "soon".

Yamal told CNN: "I don't know when the contract will be signed, but it will be soon. Barça is the club of my life, I hope to renew and stay as long as possible. I want to play in La Liga and at Barça. Yes, I am going to renew my contract."

Yamal looks set to miss Barcelona's next three games in all competitions. The Kopa Trophy winner will be on the stands for a pivotal league match against Atlético Madrid on Dec. 21, a game of significant title implications as the halfway point of the season is reached.
