With winds from the north at 10-20 miles per hour and humidity values at times below 20%, a "Red Flag Warning" (also known as fire weather warning) remains in effect areawide today until 7pm.

Thursday morning started off chilly but will begin to warm up and reach highs in the upper 60s with low humidity. A Red Flag Warning is in effect area wide from 1 to 7 p.m.

The weather service is encouraging residents in the area to obey burn bans and other restrictions, avoid using anything that can cause sparks over dry vegetation and report any fires to local officials.
