The Hornets Brandon Miller — who finished third in Rookie of the Year voting last season and is one of the future anchors in Charlotte — is out for the remainder of this season following surgery to repair a torn scapholunate ligament in his right wrist.

Just as soon as the Hornets began to see its entire starting lineup healthy and on the floor together, they lost one of their biggest pieces of the puzzle, Brandon Miller. Last week, the team announced that Miller tore the scapholunate ligament in his right wrist.

Second-year swingman Brandon Miller averaged a career-best 21 points in 27 games in 2024-25, but will spend the rest of the season on the Charlotte Hornets’ bench.
