CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - JCPenney is closing later this year at the Charleston Town Center. The company says the doors will close by May 25. As someone who grew up going to the mall, Kaci Foster says the news is devastating.

The Charleston Town Center’s last remaining anchor store announced it is closing. The JCPenney location at the Town Center will be permanently closing May 25, 2025, according to a statement from the department store.
