ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — When Bo Nix tied the Broncos record last month for touchdowns thrown by a rookie quarterback in a season, coach Sean Payton’s first reaction was to go hunting for chops to bust. “We’re hitting these milestones and I just have to give (John) Elway a hard time,” Payton said at the time. “Like, ‘What the heck?'”

Taking to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, Izzy Nix — the wife of Broncos starting quarterback Bo Nix — gave followers a peek at a merry gathering that included fellow signal callers Jarrett Stidham and Zach Wilson, as well as their partners, Kennedy Stidham and Nicolette Dellanno, respectively.

Bo Nix looks as good as advertised. With over 3,200 yards and 22 touchdowns through 15 games, Nix — paired with Denver Broncos coach Sean Payton — has evolved into a quarterback who will get better with time and could grow to be a franchise cornerstone. That is why he was the Broncos’ first-round draft pick in April.

With 27 total touchdowns thus far in his rookie season, quarterback Bo Nix is inching toward having one of the best rookie campaigns in NFL history.
