We have tickets for the race on Sunday, September 20. This is our first experience at a race. We just have tickets to the race, not any special pit passes or anything. I can't seem to find on the website what time gates open on that Sunday. Thank you in advance!

As the other reviewer stated, the entire event schedule is on their website. Traffic is a nightmare getting into the track so depending on the direction you are coming from, prepare for a LONG wait in traffic. The road into and out of the track is 1 lane in each direction !! Police try to route traffic but get ready for a long trip in. I live less than an hour from Joliet but still get a room to avoid the hassle. Once inside you will have a great experience !! The venue is clean and well laid out, depending on where your seats are located it can be quite a walk up the stairs but you can take one of only 2 elevators!! Again, prepare for a wait!! but if your seats are higher its better to walk down rather than up. I'm there from Thursday through Sunday so obviously I'm used to the normal delays. No bad seats there either if you are about Row 55. Enjoy !!!
