Really interesting in terms of pottery but seems to be ran by people who are not interested, don’t want to be there and don’t know what they are doing… but are trying to get as much money as possible…Full review by Jen S

Great place to visit. Very interesting and educational learning about pottery. It took a good 2 hrs to go around so allow plenty of time, there is lot to see and we haven't even tried flower making. …Full review by majabud

The museum is very much a pottery frozen in time. So, some of it is on ground floor level whilst other aspects are on an upper level. I have two children, and were we visiting when they …

The museum is very much a pottery frozen in time. So, some of it is on ground floor level whilst other aspects are on an upper level. I have two children, and were we visiting when they were the age of yours, we would probably have left the pushchair or buggy in the car and used an infant carrier or papoose for this visit. Definitely worth a visit and plenty to talk to baby about on the way round.

I've just had a look and you can get the train from Stoke on Trent to Longton. Then it's a five minute walk to the museum. You may be able to get a bus too but I couldn't find any details. Stoke on Trent Tourist Information were very helpful so may be able to tell you. Their number is 01782 236000.
